Kristie Ellis, DVM
Dr. Ellis has lived in Marriott-Slaterville since 1998. She completed her undergraduate degree at Weber State University graduating in 2003 with a bachelors degree in Zoology. Dr. Ellis graduated from St. Georges University School of Veterinary Medicine (Grenada, West Indies) in 2007. She complete her first three years of veterinary school on the island of Grenada and then completed her 4th year of veterinary school (clinical training) at the University of Missouri.
After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Ellis practiced small animal and equine medicine in Casper, Wyoming for 2 years until moving back to Utah to be closer to her family. Dr. Ellis practiced at a small animal clinic in Salt Lake City for a year until opening Millcreek Animal Hospital.
Dr. Ellis enjoys spending time with her pets and family. She hopes to become certified in veterinary acupuncture in the near future.
Sherry - Executive Director
Sherry has been with Millcreek Animal Hospital since we opened in 2010. She is a single mother of three children and Loves every minute of it. She has had several critters over the years. She currently has 6 cats, 2 dogs, 1 Bearded Dragon and 1 Leopard Gecko (Max). Her favorite thing about Millcreek Animal Hospital is the animals she gets to see and the staff she gets to work with on a daily basis
In her free time she enjoys going to the movies, boating, swimming and spending time with her family, and friends.
Jaimee - Certified Technician
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Sciences of Veterinary Technology. I have always had a big place in my heart for animals of all kinds. I have worked with Dr. Ellis since 2010 and absolutely love being able to help our clients and their beloved pets. I have lived in Utah for most of my life; I have an amazing husband, 3 beautiful children and seven fur babies that I spoil every chance I get. It is my goal to always provide the best care for your pet.
Amber Antes - Groomer
Amber Antes has lived in Utah all her life. She has been grooming for over 14 years . She enjoys what she does and because of that it is not just a job it is a passion. She loves to make her furry friends look and feel their best. She has groomed all different animals such as dogs cows horses goats rabbits cats guinea pigs and ferrets . she loves all animals equally and treats them with the utmost respect .. animals are like children and should be treated as so .
She has three girls ages 8, 7 and 8 months. They are her world . She is currently engaged to her best friend and they have been together for 11 years . she also enjoy listening to music riding horses and hanging out with friends around a fire and having Bar B Q's . She has an English mastiff , heeler , shih-pom , and Chihuahua.
Jessica joined the Millcreek team in 2016. She loves animals, and getting to meet new people and pets every day. As a Utah native, Jessica enjoys adventuring in the great outdoors with her 2 dogs. She also has a cat that she loves to spoil.
Heidi Roberts- Receptionist
Heidi has been a receptionist for over 10 years mostly dealing with insurance. She was very excited to get a job working in an animal clinic due to her love for animals. She is currently going to Penn Foster in their Vet Tech program. She has 4 beautiful kids, Ages 8,7,5, and 3. In her spare time she is involved in doing aerial acrobatics.
Cheyenne Gooch- Technician
My name is Cheyenne Sunny Jo Giordano Gooch. Veterinary Technician has been here with Millcreek Animal Hospital for 6 months. I was born here in Ogden and grew up in West Warren. I am currently a full time student at Weber State University with plans to attend Utah State in the near future. I have two dogs Raja Bell (Chihuahua) and Bentley (American Pit Bull Terrier). My hobbies include barrel racing, homework, and, hanging out with my family, animals, and, friends. I have 3 horses Queen, Vegas, and, Santana. One day I hope to be a veterinarian for both large and small animals. I love it here at Millcreek, Dr. Ellis is one of the most amazing doctors I have ever met. I'm very proud to be part of this awesome team.
Sable Moore- Technician
Sable Jane Moore moved to Utah at the end of July 2016 which is also when she started working with Millcreek Animal Hospital. She is currently working on finishing her Bachelor's degree in Accounting through BYU-Idaho. She would like to eventually have a career in tax auditing with the IRS. She is originally from New Hampshire. She moved to Idaho in July 2015 and then to Utah where she plans to stay for some time. Most of her family still lives in NH besides one of her sister that is here in Utah with her. She has 1 cat, Simba. She adopted him as a stray from NH Humane Society while she was working with them as a Veterinary Assistant. Simba was a "Foster Failure", he came home with her after he had been suffering from a long term URI to try and recover more efficiently in a new environment. Simba loves to travel, foster kittens and sun bathing. Her Leisure Activities include: traveling, spoiling nieces and nephews, water sports, professional organizing and cooking. Her only wish in life is for it to be Summer all year round.
Kimberlee Muir- Technician
Kimberlee is a vet tech from Logan UT. She attended BATC for animal sciences and has a lot of experience with animals. She grew up with a St. Bernard, toy poodle, and a variety of cats. In her spare time Kimberlee enjoys dates with her husband, shopping, reading, and watching movies. Kimberlee loves animals and is very excited to work with and meet all the patients at Millcreek Animal Hospital.
