Kristie Ellis, DVM
Dr. Ellis has lived in Marriott-Slaterville since 1998. She completed her undergraduate degree at Weber State University graduating in 2003 with a bachelors degree in Zoology. Dr. Ellis graduated from St. Georges University School of Veterinary Medicine (Grenada, West Indies) in 2007. She complete her first three years of veterinary school on the island of Grenada and then completed her 4th year of veterinary school (clinical training) at the University of Missouri.
After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Ellis practiced small animal and equine medicine in Casper, Wyoming for 2 years until moving back to Utah to be closer to her family. Dr. Ellis practiced at a small animal clinic in Salt Lake City for a year until opening Millcreek Animal Hospital.
Dr. Ellis enjoys spending time with her pets and family. She hopes to become certified in veterinary acupuncture in the near future.
Sherry Murcia Torres
Director of Administration
Sherry has been with Millcreek Animal Hospital since we opened in 2005. Newly married and a mother of three children, and Loves every minute of it. She has had several critters over the years. She currently has dogs and 2 Lizards. Her favorite thing about Millcreek Animal Hospital is the animals she gets to see and help and the staff she gets to work with on a daily basis In her free time she enjoys spending time with her new husband, going to the movies, boating, swimming and spending time with her family, and friends.
Director of Medical Services
Kimmy is the lead technician and director of medical services. She has been with Millcreek Animal Hospital for a little over four years and loves being here. She attended school to be in this industry and says that it was the best decision she has ever made. This job is her passion, and there is nothing she would rather do. Ever since Kimmy was little, she knew that she would be doing this! This has been her dream for as long as she can remember. In her spare time she loves doing makeup and hair, shopping, riding motorcycles, singing and playing the guitar. It is her biggest priority to provide and deliver the highest standard of care for your pets. Weird fact about her is that her favorite part of the job is drawing blood, she could do it all day!
